Memories of us

Life is transitory, time moves on and so do people, although memories remain,

Of us ‘living each moment’ – spent together – they try to fade but in vain.

With distance nothing has changed, infact the heart has grown fonder,

A ray of hope in the heart that knows, someday for eternity we will meet yonder.

I feel you in the breeze through my hair and the soft rays falling on my face,

Memories they bring to me and once again my most deepest feelings surface.

Everything pure and gentle reminds me of you, be it the clear blue sky or the crystal clear water,

To look into your eyes and know that you’ll always be standing by me is all that matters.

Good and bad memories man takes along with him through life’s course,

I’ve had only bad but you’ve turned into wonderful even the worst.

What we do …

Its when the earth stops in time and we feel years older,

Like the other side would never appear, but we sigh and wait, shoulders heavy.

Time rests on them, weary and slow but leaves fall and grow,

We look out and then don’t, O winds of change – please stroll by.

Hope and Hurt last a lifetime, they don’t disappear with autumn,

Unperceivable emotions, helpless and lonely, distraught and victimized

A face rendered unknown, where can one go and towards which light

Is it an illusion, mocking our existence or is it a final calling?

The hand that deals has nothing to do with will or luck, he gives and takes,

We play with the experience, a skill and a forbidden threshold.

With the wall in our face, lessons taught and learnt seem worthwhile or not,

What you want, you never get – ha, something that defies even time.

Bitter

Victim of another thunderbolt, this treacherous world Is much for me,
In scripts hand-written, thoughts then altered now – true love was never meant to be.

Softness in the eyes vanished, mellowed nature then - hard, change too much to bear,
Love in the air around before vaporized, now disappearing like never was there.

Undying love chained below, now cold and very dead,
Laughter bubbled, unmoving and still, tis stage it would come people have often said.

Phrases above mark mine own end in poetry,
Frozen ink, prosaic mind, emotionless heart heartless body … thankyou is all that is left to say.
To die if …

The sparkling make-believe diamond strains to drip,
But it is unable to repel the force and oozes out of my grip.

Ripples, as it falls, the rest unite,
Never losing a wink, lost to water, nothing is anymore light.

Oh ray, love’s labor ere lost, light the watery path,
Else fury of love, vision will perceive my wrath.

Feel eel depth of love, ambers never turning cold,
Sense then how essential for life to me greater than the world.

Some sole assist in this love deed,
None sole – then best paid with my life indeed!
